My name is Brian Williams. I was born, raised and currently live in Charlotte, NC. I have been married to my wife (Angela) for a little over ten years and we have two boys and one girl to complete our family of five. Angela is originally from Cincinnati, OH, and we met in our first month in college at BJU in September of 1994.
My oldest is Nolan and he is 6 years old. He is in first grade and enjoys golf, baseball and soccer. Peyton is 3 years old and enjoys trying to be like his older brother in all aspects. He just started pre-school and loves to eat desserts. Olivia is two years old and absolutely ”daddy’s princess.” There is nothing like having a little girl and I am 100% her best play buddy. She loves anything with a princess on it and her blanket!
I graduated from Bob Jones University in 1999 with a BA in Pastoral Studies and completed enough hours to also have a second degree in History. Angela also graduated from Bob Jones Universtiy in 1998 with her BS in Elementary Education. Since graduating, my wife and I have always been active in working with young people in the churches where we have belonged. We both love to spend our time with our own children as that is our greatest gifts from God, save our salvation. My guilty pleasures include watching every sport activity under the sun, fine dining and traveling all over the globe. Angela enjoys travel, spending time with the kids, and going to the movies.
My family and I currently attend Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC. Locally it is known as the “Pink Church” or the “Wizard of Oz” church due to its design, size and color. We have been there for about two years and we have enjoyed the balance, the doctrinal stability, the unashamed preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the incredible leadership that starts at the top from our pastor (John Munro). In January of 2008, we began getting involved with the youth at Calvary serving as the needs of the ministry present itself. Under the leadership of Dean Hawkins and Jason Jiminez we have seen incredible growth, spiritual accountability, and consistency in both the the lives of the teens and the ministry itself.
I currently work for Multiple Directory Service Inc (www.multipledirectory.com). MDS was started in 1989 by my step-father (Jim Wilson) and I started working with him in 2001 at MDS. MDS is one of the largest yellow page marketing firms in the nation as we handle over 250 print advertising clients in the US. In 2004, I started MDS Interactive (www.mdsinteractive.com), which is an online marketing solution for our clients who want to have and advertising presence through the major search engine networks.
